“Singing is the sound of the soul” James Runcie
You were born to sing!
Since my childhood, I have been driven by a deep passion for singing. It all began when I took the stage for my first solo at the tender age of eight. From that moment, I knew that my future lay in the world of vocal performance. I embarked on my professional vocal training journey at the age of 12 and have been dedicated to music ever since.
I became a featured soloist in my church, high school, and college, which provided me with incredible opportunities to tour throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. I majored in Vocal Performance in college and competed each year, winning multiple scholarships. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Music at Briercrest College and taught private voice lessons as an intern, then moved to adjunct faculty. Briercrest College sponsored my solo album and recruited me to represent their Music Department on the road. I furthered my education and earned my MA in Christian Leadership from Liberty University and Seminary.
For the past 18 years, I have been honored to lead worship at Saddleback Church and to direct the Saddleback Kids Choir. During this time, I envisioned and was the artist representation for the Dove-nominated Album, 'Brave.' I was also the voice instructor and director of the Saddleback Church Music Academy from 2007 to 2024. In 2024, the academy was entrusted to my care and was renamed The Rebekah Ann Vocals & Music Academy.
One of the recent highlights of my career was being selected through an audition to perform "God Bless America" at the 4th of July fireworks spectacular in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. This was an extraordinary privilege, and it brought me immense joy to share my talents with my community.
I am blessed to be the wife of Alex and Mother to Cooper. Together we own and operate Rebekah Ann Vocals & Music Academy, where our goal is to impart the lifelong joy of music to all our students.
